Q: Why are there so many religions in the world. Which is the "right" religion

The theory of the constant signal

I theorise that just like man made discoveries such as fire over different time spans, that never meant that fire did not exist, only that man had to tune into the knowledge of how to light a fire.

I think that this is the same with God. The bottom line is, he exists, is always constant and always on the same frequency. Just like there are multiple ways to light a fire, so then there must be multiple ways to know (tune into) God.

If an artist is reflected in his creations, then in his creations, God shows us that he loves diversity, loves order, loves colour, loves complex packages wrapped up in simplicity. It then does not compute that he would accept only one path to knowing him.

The understanding of God is universal, he is God. (full stop)

The future then lies not in the war of words over who is right and who is wrong, but in the reveleation of the heart as that is where God can be found.

When confronted with the choice of what is right or wrong, look to your heart (soul) for the answers, analyse, pray, meditate and the truth shall be revealed for God is a constant signal that the soul knows and is always tuned in to

  1. I totally agree with this. But my agreement begs the question; what then gives the right for the painting to question the painter? we as paintings have decided how the next paintings should be painted (choice of worship).if the painter paints the picture, how then can the picture question the painter? how did the picture end up setting rules of how the paintings should be? isnt that insulting to the Painter? if insulting to the Most High, havent we all committed the most deadliest sin, simply by choosing which wall to hang on (Church)? do we have a right to decide which religion to follow? does religion then become a misplaced perception? If God is universal, then our job is simply to worship Him, not decide which way of worshipping is right and which is wrong....? am asking?

And if indeed we 'not guilty ones' truely attend church simply for worship, in the best way we know how, indeed we are 'not guilty' But when we tolerate/participate in any discussion on how a certain religion is not right, in their practises or beliefs....are we then, the Painting that chooses which wall to hang on, instead of letting the Painter decide?

  2. Religion is mans creation, not God's and that i think is where the problems begins
I however accept that people seem to need a rule book to understand their creator and that is unfortunatly religions role. This role is very powerful and is often abused but let us not forget the great people within the structures who have managed to seek God with their souls and give us directions, Elijah, Daniel, Jeremiah, Muhammed, Budha, The Lord Jesus Christ.

  3. I believe the Lord Jesus Christ is the way and the truth and the life. And no one goes to God the Father, the Most High, except through him. Not Elijah, Daniel, Jerry and certainly not Muhammed or Buddha. We can argue from here to Mexico about religion and worship and structures( by all means let us), but he who does not have the Son of God does not have eternal life. Simple as that. The scriptures say it and our only role is to believe that the Most High has made it so simple. We need to be radically firm in our beliefs with no apologies or like many in the church we will be tossed around by the waves of doubt and compromise that our generation has been under such strong attack against.

  4. ...this is the perfect example of what i mean by Painting choosing which wall to hang on. Each religion has its own 'Truth' and believes beyond doubt to be the ONLY Truth. But the bottom line is that the Painter is the Final Authority when it comes to deciding which wall we will hang on.... and I guess woe unto you if you decide to hang on the wrong wall!

or maybe.....we are allowed to choose which wall to hang onto, but once the decision is made by the painting, we have to live upto the 'standing' of that wall. and maybe the 'sin' comes about from choosing which wall to hang on, and not standing by the wall chosen....hmmmm interesting thought....
